Mitchell Ghaneie, a registered Patent Attorney, assists a range of businesses and individuals —including startups, independent inventors, entrepreneurs, mid-sized companies, and nonprofit organizations—with protecting and enforcing their intellectual property. Since 2015, Mitchell has focused his practice on securing intellectual property for his clients by submitting patent, trademark, and copyright applications, as well as formulating trade secret policies for employers and drafting licensing agreements. Over the years, Mitchell has filed and prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”).

In addition to procurement, Mitchell serves as litigation counsel in intellectual property infringement matters in both federal court and before administrative tribunals. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement as well as trade secret misappropriation claims. His litigation practice includes pre-suit analysis and investigations, preparing cease-and-desist letters, initiating or defending against infringement lawsuits, managing discovery, working with expert witnesses, and negotiating settlements. Mitchell has represented clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to large corporations in high-stakes IP disputes.

Mitchell also assists clients with developing pre-suit enforcement campaigns, which may include monitoring intellectual property on various social media platforms and online retail sites. He advises clients on takedown strategies and coordinates with online platforms to remove infringing content. Whether pursuing infringers or defending against overreaching claims, Mitchell brings a practical, strategic approach to resolving disputes efficiently and in alignment with his clients’ business goals.
