Elise Edwards primarily provides corporate and regulatory counsel with respect to healthcare and life science business transactions and compliance matters. Elise assists clients in navigating and achieving efficient and effective solutions in an array of matters ranging from day-to-day operations to large transactions to providing regulatory and compliance guidance. Her experience includes counseling hospitals, physicians and physician group practices, health plans, and start-ups throughout healthcare mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, insurance regulation, intellectual property and information technology matters, corporate reorganizations, practitioner employment agreements, and HIPAA compliance matters. 

Ms. Edwards also frequently counsels not-for-profit organizations and assists with not-for-profit formation, IRS tax-exemption applications, and related ongoing compliance matters. She focuses on ensuring that not-for-profit organizations adopt and maintain compliant policies and procedures, as well as assisting with compliant transaction structures. Ms. Edwards also provides trainings for not-for-profit Directors as to requirements and best practices for members of a Board of Directors.
