Lippes Mathias LLP served as legal counsel to CannonDesign in its acquisition of Cityfi, a strategy and innovation firm focused on city planning, mobility and civic life. Cityfi will continue to operate under its name while integrating into CannonDesign's consulting practice. 

The acquisition broadens CannonDesign's capacity to serve clients — including healthcare organizations, colleges and universities, and commercial clients — that operate at the intersection of civic life, the built environment and transportation mobility. 

The Cityfi transaction follows CannonDesign's recent addition of Ennead Architects and prior acquisitions of Scion Advisory Services, Jenkins•Peer Architects, Christner Architects, Yellow Brick Consulting and The Clarient Group.
