Lippes Mathias LLP is proud to have served as legal counsel to its client, CannonDesign, in the strategic acquisition of Charlotte-based Jenkins•Peer Architects.

This transaction significantly expands CannonDesign’s footprint in the Southeast, establishing the firm’s first office in the Carolinas. Jenkins•Peer Architects is recognized for its work in planning, architecture, and interior design across higher education, science and technology, sports, and civic and cultural markets. The Jenkins•Peer Architects team will officially join CannonDesign on December 31.

The Lippes Mathias deal team for this transaction included partners Brendan J. Rich and Lauren A. Suttell, along with Devon R. McDonald, the firm’s director of tax. This acquisition of Jenkins•Peer Architects marks the fourth transaction in 2025 in which Lippes Mathias has successfully advised CannonDesign.
