Bio
Partner-in-Charge of the Florida offices, Christopher A. Walker, concentrates his practice in the development and financing of complex real estate transactions, including affordable housing, public finance transactions, and economic development matters. He has successfully closed over $1,000,000,000 in real estate acquisitions and financing matters for his clients, including multifaceted 1031 exchanges and defeasances. 
 
Mr. Walker has represented financial institutions nationally and in Canada on both real estate secured and asset secured lending transactions. He advises investors, developers, builders, contractors, condominiums, and civic association advice on a wide variety of real estate matters, ensuring their interests are protected and successful completion. 
 
Mr. Walker’s practice has an emphasis on the representation of non-profit and for-profit developers utilizing low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt debt in connection with affordable housing developments, as well as historic tax credits and new markets tax credits in connection with commercial real estate developments. He engages in all aspects of investment, including; all facets of HAP contracts, HUD transactions, bonds, and other financial programs to promote affordable housing, stability, and security of individuals and families.
