Hoffman, a partner and member of Lippes Mathias’ financial restructuring & insolvency practice team, led Lynd’s successful positioning as the stalking horse bidder to acquire the asset through a bankruptcy sale, coordinating with federal, state, and local stakeholders to complete a purchase free and clear of liens. 

In addition to Hoffman’s work on the deal, firm real estate team members Christopher A. Walker, Michelle L. Bouton, and Wayne Selogy closed the acquisition and financing, enabling Lynd to preserve the historic public housing complex at the center of the deal.
