Haodong Zhong
Bio
Haodong Zhong is a member of Lippes Mathias’ Intellectual Property Practice Team, where he focuses his practice on trademark portfolio management, brand protection, and intellectual property disputes. He advises clients on domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, TTAB proceedings, domain name disputes, and global trademark strategies, helping businesses protect and maximize the value of their brands across multiple jurisdictions.
Drawing on a background in applied mathematics, Haodong also counsels clients on artificial intelligence governance, privacy, and emerging technology matters. He helps organizations navigate the legal and regulatory risks associated with AI-enabled products, data-driven technologies, and evolving compliance requirements. Haodong holds several privacy and AI governance certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), including the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) credentials.
As a bilingual attorney fluent in English and Chinese, Haodong brings an international perspective to complex legal and business challenges. He also holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/China (CIPP/CN) certifications, reflecting his knowledge of global privacy frameworks and cross-border regulatory considerations. His experience working with clients and foreign counsel across Asia, Europe, and Africa enables him to provide practical, globally informed advice in an increasingly interconnected marketplace.
