Haodong Zhong

Haodong Zhong is a member of Lippes Mathias’ Intellectual Property Practice Team, where he focuses on trademark portfolio management, brand protection, and intellectual property disputes. He advises clients on domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, TTAB proceedings, domain name disputes, and global trademark strategies, helping businesses protect and maximize the value of their brands across multiple jurisdictions.

 

Drawing on his background in mathematics and technology, Haodong also advises clients on data privacy, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology matters. His practice includes counseling on U.S. state privacy and AI laws, HIPAA, COPPA, GLBA, the GDPR, and other international privacy requirements, as well as AI governance, cross-border data transfers, SaaS agreements, and the deployment of AI-enabled products and services. He has earned professional certifications in privacy, privacy technology, and AI governance.

 

Haodong also writes on the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. His scholarship on responsible AI adoption and the limitations of AI systems in legal decision-making has been accepted for publication. Fluent in English and Chinese, he brings a cross-border perspective to clients navigating intellectual property, privacy, and emerging technology issues in the United States and abroad.
