Lippes Mathias LLP today announced that Stewart J. Subjinski has joined the firm as counsel in its Jacksonville office. Subjinski is a member of the firm’s litigation and general counsel services practice teams. 

Subjinski focuses his practice on general commercial litigation and general counsel services, advising companies of all sizes and across industries, including technology, health care, real estate, professional services, and financial services. His work covers all core areas of business operations, from complex litigation to risk management and ongoing corporate advisement. 

In his litigation practice, Subjinski represents clients in breach of contract, trade secret, restrictive covenant, business tort, and real estate disputes. He has experience in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts defending and obtaining injunctions, money judgments, and other collection remedies, including foreclosures. As outside general counsel, he provides on-demand legal guidance for companies without in-house counsel, handling contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, employment advisement, and creditor and collection matters. He also counsels employers on noncompete enforcement, harassment investigations, severance strategies, EEOC proceedings, wage and hour claims, and theft or property loss issues. 

Subjinski earned his J.D., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2021 and his B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida in 2017. 

He serves on the board of directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Jacksonville Chapter and the Beaches Town Center Agency (BTCA) and acts as competition director for the 4th Judicial Circuit High School Mock Trial Competition. 

His honors include recognition by Florida Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star in 2025, the William M. Pomerantz Trial Award from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and the American Bar Association Section of State and Local Government Law: Student Excellence Award from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Subjinski is also a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2026.
