Lippes Mathias Secures $45M Asset Sale and Plan Confirmation in Bellaviva at Whispering Hills Bankruptcy

Lippes Mathias LLP has secured a $45 million sale of all assets and real property and confirmation of a plan of liquidation in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of Bellaviva at Whispering Hills, pending in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. 

Bellaviva at Whispering Hills is a 1,432-acre master-planned mixed-use development site in Leesburg, Florida. The confirmed plan of liquidation went effective without opposition and was outlined in an article published by the Orlando Sentinel. 

Partner Johnny Mueller, who leads the firm's financial restructuring & insolvency practice team, led the matter alongside Stewart J. Subjinski and Rebecca S. Izzo.
