Ms. Bonsu is a corporate attorney whose practice spans a wide range of domestic and cross-border business transactions and legal disciplines. Her areas of focus include general corporate law, corporate governance and compliance, private equity, startups and venture capital, public companies, independent sponsor transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. She also has deep experience in securities law, advising both U.S. public companies and foreign private issuers on SEC compliance, disclosures, and complex transactions such as SPAC and de-SPAC deals.

Ms. Bonsu regularly counsels clients in franchising and licensing, sports, entertainment & hospitality, and Canada–U.S. cross-border matters. Her international practice includes advising on cross-border investments, governance structures, and regulatory considerations.

She currently serves as Co-Chair of the International Private Equity & Venture Capital Committee of the American Bar Association’s International Law Section. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Bonsu is a recognized legal analyst and has been featured on global news networks such as the BBC, providing commentary on international legal and business developments.
