Matthew H. Maizes

Matt, a Senior Associate on the firm’s Corporate Practice Team, focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, independent sponsor, and general corporate matters.

Matt has experience representing a diverse range of clients on acquisitions, divestitures, and equity structuring with extensive experience both with private equity clients as well as strategics and founders.  Matt has worked on over 100 transactions in the lower middle market, often in the $5m to $100m+ range, in a wide variety of industries, including business services, home services, medical device/healthcare technology, manufacturing, construction, automotive, industrial products, and software. 

Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Matt spent time at a leading law firm in Tampa, Florida as a Corporate Associate focusing on M&A and at a Big Four accounting firm in their Northern Virginia office as a M&A Tax Senior Associate.
