Mina N. Mirzaie, an associate in Lippes Mathias LLP's Saratoga Springs office and member of the firm’s government & corporate investigations practice team, has been selected to serve on the New York State Bar Association President's Committee on Access to Justice. 

The NYSBA President's Committee on Access to Justice is charged with considering and implementing methods for enhancing access by the indigent to the civil legal system. The committee works to encourage lawyers to provide pro bono legal services to the poor and to secure adequate funding for programs that ensure access to civil justice, consistent with the State Bar Plan adopted Oct. 26, 1989, by the NYSBA House of Delegates. The committee pursues these objectives through cooperation with local bar associations and other public and private associations and agencies.

Mina N. Mirzaie focuses her practice on government investigations and compliance matters, internal investigations, and civil and criminal defense litigation. Mirzaie represents defendants, targets, subjects, witnesses, and businesses in responses to subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other government-generated document demands. 

Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Mirzaie began her career as an assistant district attorney with the Kings County District Attorney's Office. She later joined a civil litigation law firm in Albany.
