I. Jeffrey Pheterson, senior counsel in the West Palm Beach office of Lippes Mathias LLP, has been elected chair of the board of directors of Keep AI Safe Foundation, Inc. (KAIS), a national 501(c)(3) organization focused on AI safety and child protection. 

KAIS works to protect children and adolescents from AI-related harm through targeted awareness, critical research, and systemic change, prioritizing safety, accountability, and human values. 

Pheterson also serves as a member of the board of trustees of Baptist Health South Florida, Inc. and its affiliate hospitals, Bethesda Hospitals East and West.
