Lippes Mathias LLP has added Sean P. Tytka to its litigation practice team in its Buffalo office. The commercial litigation lawyer focuses his practice on contractual disputes, earn-out disputes, breach of fiduciary duty actions, and shareholder derivative actions, and defends creditors and financial institutions against individual and class claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). 

Tytka earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2025 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University at Buffalo in 2021. During law school, he competed in national trial advocacy and mediation events. He interned with the New York State Office of the Attorney General in 2023, where he defended claims against the state, and during his final semester served as a judicial extern for Justice John B. Licata on the New York State Supreme Court, 8th Judicial District. 

Tytka is a member of the New York Bar Association and serves as a trial advocacy coach at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
