Mr. Haas' legal practice is focused on drafting patent applications, prosecuting applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, rendering invalidity and non-infringement opinions, licensing, preparing and reviewing commercial agreements, and counseling clients in diverse industries with respect to their intellectual property matters. Steve works closely with U.S. and foreign clients in technical fields such as industrial automation, automotive and heavy-duty transportation equipment, home appliances, electro-mechanical systems, athletic equipment, excavation machinery, and medical devices to protect, manage, and exploit their intellectual property while avoiding the rights of their competitors. Steve also advises clients in connection with trademark and copyright matters.
