About Michael R. Overmyer 

Michael R. Overmyer, the firm’s Rochester office leader, concentrates his practice in the area of banking and financial services, representing financial organizations in complex structured finance transactions, including for affordable housing and historic tax credit projects. His affordable housing transaction experience includes bond purchases and credit enhancements for tax-exempt bond transactions. Overmyer also handles secured transactions involving asset-based and commercial real estate financing, revolving credit facilities, mezzanine loans, and loan participations and syndications. He also represents commercial lenders in public finance transactions. 

About Alexis B. Telga 

Alexis B. Telga concentrates her practice on banking and financial transactions, representing financial organizations in a broad range of financing matters, from traditional lending transactions to sophisticated structured finance deals. Telga manages loan transactions through every stage of the process, from the commitment phase through closing and post-closing matters. Her practice has a strong focus on real estate secured transactions, including construction loans. Telga also represents buyers and sellers on commercial real estate transactions, including borrower-side representation where financing is involved. 

Telga participated in the firm's summer associate program in 2022 and is a 2023 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, she worked as a student attorney in the Syracuse University Transactional Law Clinic and as a teaching assistant for first-year law students in legal writing. She also served as the law student representative to the board of trustees and as the administrative editor of the Journal of International Law and Commerce.
