BUFFALO, NY – Scott E. Friedman, chairman, and Andrea H. Vossler, a partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friendman LLP, are participating in a Techstars Startup Week Buffalo panel discussion on September 18.

The panel discussion titled, “So you want to be a VC (Venture Capitalist)?” will include interactive discussions surrounding tips on seeking out potential startups and the do’s and don’ts of providing seed funding. Mr. Friedman will sit on the panel, with Ms. Vossler acting as moderator for the event.

At Lippes Mathias, Mr. Friedman serves as the firm’s Family Business Practice Team leader. In addition, he is a general partner in Impact Capital of New York, LLC, a venture capital fund, and a principal and senior advisor in Delphi21 Advisors, LLC, a business advisory firm.

Ms. Vossler is an experienced partner in the Lippes Mathias’ Corporate & Securities practice group, where she co-leads the startups and venture capital practice teams. She has extensive experience working with entrepreneurs, later-stage companies, investors and funds across a variety of stages, sectors and geographies.
