Lippes Mathias is pleased to share that Andrew M. Wilson, partner and co-leader of Lippes Mathias LLP’s immigration practice team, spoke at the AILA Upstate New York Chapter Northern Border Conference, held on September 20 at the Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, NY.
Wilson participated in the "Hot Topics - Business Immigration" panel, which addressed key updates and emerging trends in immigration law. Panelists discussed a range of important issues, including Toronto E visa trends, TNs for Mexican nationals, H-1B online filings, updates to the FLAG system, PERM labor certification trends, and Form I-140 issues. Additionally, the panel covered critical topics such as the COVID-19 vaccine and medical exam trends for adjustment of status (AOS) and immigrant visa processing (IVP), visa bulletin trends, and strategies for contacting USCIS to resolve case-specific challenges.
Wilson was joined on the panel by notable immigration attorneys from across the country, including Nell Barker of Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. About Andrew M. Wilson
Andrew M. Wilson focuses on building long-lasting relationships with clients as a trusted advisor as opposed to simply completing specific transactions and filings.
