Lippes Mathias LLP served as legal counsel to Astria Elevate LP in its acquisition of Entro Communications, an experiential design and architecture firm headquartered in Toronto and New York. The transaction, announced July 7, is Astria Elevate’s first platform investment since the Dallas-based firm’s launch on June 17. 

Founded in 1990, Entro combines design, science, and engineering to shape public spaces worldwide. Notable engagements include Changi Airport in Singapore, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, SEPTA in Philadelphia, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. 

The investment aligns with Astria Elevate’s focus on founder-owned or privately owned businesses positioned for long-term growth, a strategy shaped by founder and managing partner Shaun Gordon. Entro’s founders, Wayne McCutcheon and Andrew Kuzyk, will remain in advisory roles, while incoming chief executive officer John Campanella will lead the company’s next phase of expansion. 

The Lippes Mathias deal team was led by John J. Koeppel (partner and private equity/independent sponsor practice team leader) and included CJ Kolber (M&A / PE associate), Andrew J. Olek (corporate/intellectual property partner), and Tom Mitchell (tax counsel).
