BUFFALO, NY – Richard M. Scherer, Jr., a senior associate at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, has been appointed to the Delaware Soccer Club board of directors for a three-year term.
The Delaware Soccer Club exists to promote the development of youth in the local community through participation in athletic competition. The Club’s goal is to provide activities that offer recreational, social and physical development for children of all skill levels.
At Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, Mr. Scherer concentrates his practice primarily in state and federal business litigation and environmental compliance matters. His business litigation practice involves defending and prosecuting matters across New York State and in federal courts across the country. In his environmental compliance practice, Mr. Scherer counsels private and public companies in the environmental aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and has coordinated and overseen cleanup and remediation activities across the country.
