Partner David E. Siegfeld Renews Board Role at Hospitality House Therapeutic Community

Lippes Mathias LLP announced today that David E. Siegfeld, a partner in the firm’s Albany office and leader of its trusts and estates practice team, has renewed his position on the Board of Directors of Hospitality House Therapeutic Community for an additional three-year term.
Based in Albany, Hospitality House is a New York not-for-profit organization licensed by the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) to operate as a long-term residential treatment facility for individuals recovering from substance use. The program serves court-referred clients and those reentering society after incarceration through structured, peer-supported recovery. Each resident receives personalized counseling and participates in a full schedule of therapeutic services, educational programming, and behavioral health support. The facility is nearing completion of a new building in downtown Albany that will expand its capacity from 44 to approximately 74 residents.
About David E. Siegfeld
David Siegfeld is a partner and trusts and estates practice team leader with Lippes Mathias. He was honored to serve almost six years with the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Charities Bureau as an intern and assistant attorney general, concentrating in the areas of trusts and estates and not-for-profit law. After moving to private practice in 1999, he expanded the scope of his legal concentration to assisting clients with their estate planning, probate, and litigation needs, as well as counseling numerous businesses and individuals on a wide range of business transactional, succession, and planning matters. Siegfeld assists in the development of complex estate plans as well as partnership and shareholder agreements. He has also developed over two decades of experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Siegfeld sits on the board of directors and numerous committees of the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York and served as its chair from 2019 to 2021, annual campaign chair from 2017 to 2019, and endowment board chair from 2013 to 2017.
