New Immigration Executive Order Targeting H-1Bs and L-1s?

Immigration Blog
Speculation continues to persist that we may see a new Immigration Executive Order as soon as June 11th. The content of this new proclamation could entail restrictions on H-1B and L-1 categories, including a suspension of entry for anyone in these categories for at least 90 days.
Separate from the new proclamation, we can also expect a renewed urgency to target H-4 EADs and STEM OPT extensions.
It is important to remember though that any unilateral attempt to circumvent our immigration statutes and regulations will likely be challenged in court. We have immigration laws in place for at least some stability and certainty. It should not be a roller coaster ride of Executive Orders from administration to administration shaping our immigration system.
