BUFFALO, NY – Jennifer C. Persico, partner, and Stacey L. Moar, senior associate, at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP recently participated in the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s 2018 Speaker Series: Cybersecurity on November 8.
The panel discussion focused on Incident Response Plans, a walk-through of a real breach, and understanding and implementing the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Framework and how it will help organizations in outlining current state of cybersecurity and how to strengthen any weaknesses.
At Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, Ms. Persico serves as Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group co-leader. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, including contract claims on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Ms. Persico also handles premises liability claims, corporate law, municipal law, foreclosures and real estate.
A member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Moar has extensive experience assisting clients with internal investigations, regulatory compliance and voluntary self-compliance matters. She has also handled numerous commercial matters involving restrictive covenants and contractual disputes, as well as employment disputes.
