BUFFALO, NY – Benjamin F. Macaluso and Mitchell J. Ream, attorneys with Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, have been appointed to the Shufto Soccer Initiative, Inc. board of directors.
The Shufto Soccer Initiative, Inc., founded in 2017, is a non-profit organization based on Buffalo’s West Side with the goal of promoting health, wellness, and sports development activities for underserved youth.
From May to August, the program equipped and trained over 40 local children, in addition to 25 Sudanese children per year, through its international program in Sudan.
Mr. Macaluso and Mr. Ream are participating in the upcoming Shufto Soccer Initiative Winter Fundraiser at Community Beer Works on November 9. All proceeds will aid in the continuation of indoor programming through the fall and winter months.
