BUFFALO, NY –Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph P. Heins, Vincent M. Miranda, Stacey L. Moar, and Richard M. Scherer, Jr., to senior associates.
These promotions have been made to recognize the consistent high quality performance and contributions these attorneys have made to our collective continuing growth and success.
Joseph P. Heins concentrates his practice on commercial real estate, including leasing, sales and acquisitions, project development, financing and real property title matters. Mr. Heins has extensive experience in the retail sector, representing developers, landlords and tenants of shopping malls and other retail establishments.
Vincent M. Miranda devotes his practice to counseling businesses through various issues and disputes presented by employees, competitors and vendors. Mr. Miranda represents employers before state and federal agencies, including the New York State and U.S. Departments of Labor, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Stacey L. Moar, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses her practice on internal investigations, regulatory compliance and voluntary self-compliance matters, working with New York State and federal agencies and private organizations. Ms. Moar also handles commercial matters involving restrictive covenants and contractual disputes, as well as employment disputes.
Richard M. Scherer, Jr., concentrates his practice in state and federal business litigation and environmental compliance matters, including matters involving breach of contract, earn-out disputes, shareholder disputes and contractual indemnity claims , earn-out disputes, shareholder disputes, contractual indemnity claims, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
