BUFFALO, N.Y. –  On January 25, 2021, Dennis C. Vacco, Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Partner and Government and State Attorneys General Investigations Team Leader, was installed to The Business Council of New York State Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is the governing body of The Business Council and includes 51 Directors who serve three-year terms. Board directors are active participants and vocal advocates for their companies, their industries, and the overall health of the state's business climate. 

Dennis is a Former New York State Attorney General and serves as the firm’s Government & State Attorneys General Investigations Practice Team Leader. He focuses much of his legal practice on governmental investigations and compliance work. Dennis works both with clients who want to be sure they are in compliance with the complex and ever-changing rules of both the state and federal governments. Dennis focuses his practice on State Attorney General investigations as well as investigations by the United States Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Department of Homeland Security.  Dennis also leads the Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman Cross-Border Practice in Israel where the Firm has developed a strategic partnership with a leading Israeli law firm.  Dennis, who has traveled frequently to Israel, has represented Israeli businesses that also conduct business in the United States.  He also conducts seminars and makes media appearances to discuss the regulatory environment for Israeli businesses in the United States.
