BUFFALO, NY – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP today announced Mark C. Davis and Lawrence H. Schaefer have both been promoted to partners with the firm.

“Congratulations to both Mark and Lawrence on this milestone achievement in their legal careers,” said Kevin J. Cross, the firm’s managing partner. “Being promoted to partner illustrates the hard work and dedication that both attorneys exhibit on behalf of the clients and practice areas that they serve.”

Mr. Davis, a partner in the firm’s Buffalo office, focuses his practice on commercial litigation and has extensive experience in both state and federal courts. He also represents businesses and municipalities on matters involving zoning or land use issues, Article 78 proceedings, claims of personal injuries, discrimination and civil rights violations. 

A partner in the firm’s Albany office, Mr. Schaefer concentrates his practice in labor and employment. He is also a member of the New York Air National Guard, serving as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 109th Airlift Wing at Stratton ANGB, Scotia, NY.
