Four Lippes Mathias Law Clerks Admitted to Practice Law in New York State

Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that law clerks Timothy A. Allaire (Buffalo), Natalia Beltre (Buffalo), Jennifer E. Forward (Syracuse), and Carson M. Hearst (Albany) have been admitted to practice law in New York State. All four attorneys have subsequently been elevated to the title of “associate” following their admission. 

About Timothy A. Allaire 

Timothy Allaire is a member of Lippes Mathias’ corporate and tax planning practice teams. He focuses his practice on federal income taxation, including tax planning and guidance with respect to corporate restructurings, reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactional matters, private equity investments, and independent sponsor transactions. He will provide thoughtful guidance to help clients navigate complex tax rules and achieve strategic business objectives. 

Allaire participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes (Ret.) on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law and graduated summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo with degrees in accounting and political science. 

About Natalia Beltre 

Natalia Beltre is a member of Lippes Mathias’ health care practice team, where she supports national telehealth clients, medical spas, and pharmacies through multistate research and regulatory guidance. She counsels clients on compliance matters, including corporate practice of medicine restrictions, fraud and abuse prevention, Food and Drug Act regulations, and data privacy issues at both the federal and state levels  

Beltre also frequently assists with entity formations and foreign qualifications for healthcare entities and architectural firms to facilitate expansion on a national level. She assists licensed professionals in both industries with multistate licensure matters and prepares business certification applications for women-owned and minority-owned enterprises pursuing government contracting opportunities.  

Her work also encompasses drafting key legal documents for digital health platforms, including disclaimers, terms of use, and privacy policies, as well as preparing informed consent forms for medical spas and medical practices.  

During her time at the University at Buffalo School of Law, Beltre served as an intern for Hon. Julio M. Fuentes at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She also participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. 

About Jennifer E. Forward 

Jennifer Forward is a member of the firm's health care practice team, where she assists in advising hospitals, physician practices, behavioral health providers and other health care providers. Her work includes supporting the firm's attorneys in drafting and reviewing contracts and organizational documents, assisting with the formation of professional entities and other health care corporations, analyzing state and federal regulatory requirements, and assisting with matters involving professional licensing, privacy, and corporate governance.  

Forward participated in the firm's Summer Associate Program and, prior to joining Lippes Mathias, was a law clerk at CCB Law in Syracuse, New York. While in law school, she worked as a student attorney in the Albany Law School Edward P. Swyer Justice Center's Health Law Clinic and as a research assistant. She also served as the executive director of Albany Law School's Anthony V. Cardona '70 Moot Court Program. 

About Carson M. Hearst 

Carson Hearst is a member of Lippes Mathias’ trusts & estates, corporate, and real estate practice teams. He assists clients with their estate planning, probate, and estate litigation needs, as well as numerous businesses and individuals with business transactions, planning, and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and landlord-tenant relations. He represents both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions.  

Carson was previously a legal intern in the firm’s Albany office and gained valuable hands-on experience in the firm’s many practice areas.  

While in law school, Carson served as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, as board director of the Veteran Pro Bono Project, as an Introduction to Lawyering Teaching Assistant, and as a Title IX Pro Bono Advisor to local colleges. He was also a dedicated member of the Albany Law School Rugby Football Club and continues to stay engaged with local rugby clubs in the Capital Region.
