Bio
Jennifer Arangio is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Team where she represents owners, developers, investors, and corporate clients in a range of commercial real estate and corporate matters. Her private practice background includes advising clients on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, private placements, entity formation, governance and regulatory matters.
In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer brings extensive senior-level federal government executive and legislative experience. She served as a Senior Director at the White House National Security Council, where she led interagency policy on multilateral affairs, global development, conflict stabilization, and related strategic initiatives. She later served as Chief Advisor to the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, advising agency leadership on budget, humanitarian, development, and policy priorities.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer served as Senior Counsel to Rep. Peter T. King, on the Committee on Homeland Security in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she conducted oversight and advised committee leadership on cybersecurity, aviation security, critical infrastructure, appropriations, and national security matters, and worked on the development of significant federal legislation. Her longstanding commitment to public service also included a campaign for the New York City Council and a senior advisory role on a presidential campaign, experiences that broadened her perspective on government, public policy, and civic leadership.
Jennifer began her legal career as a corporate and securities regulation attorney in New York, where she represented broker-dealers, hedge funds, and investment partnerships in corporate, transactional and regulatory matters.
