Mr. Campisi concentrates his practice in insurance coverage and counseling, assisting clients with risk and insurance matters with an emphasis in drafting risk and insurance terms in commercial contracts and marshaling claims for insurance recoveries. Mr. Campisi’s practice was previously devoted to insurance coverage litigation where he handled issues and disputes under all types of coverages and provided counseling to carriers on duty to defend disputes, proprietary and standard exclusions, additional insured coverage claims and defenses, priority of coverage, and construction defect coverage and exclusions.
 
Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Mr. Campisi served as in-house counsel to some of Western New York’s largest and most well-known companies where he focused on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts. While in-house, Mr. Campisi also advised senior leaders on strategic initiatives, corporate innovation, and risk assessments and gained extensive corporate governance experience while supporting boards of directors and acting as a liaison between c-suite executives and the boards.
