BUFFALO, NY – Scott E. Friedman, managing partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, will give a presentation focused on family businesses at a networking event hosted by the Buffalo Chapter of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) on Thursday, November 17, 2015, at Banchetti Banquet Facility.

Mr. Friedman dedicates a large part of his practice to consulting with family businesses across the United States. He enjoys working with families and helping them create plans to grow successful businesses, from generation to generation.

Through his research, Mr. Friedman has published several books on the topic of family businesses and developed many new planning strategies that are now part of the curriculum at the University at Buffalo's Family Business Center where he is an executive in residence. Mr. Friedman is also heavily involved in his consulting business, Next Gen Advisors, LLC, which assists family owned business in fostering strong relationships and bottom line success through positive psychology.
