BUFFALO, NY – Scott E. Friedman, managing partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, recently gave presentations focused on investing for start-ups.

Friedman gave a lecture – “Starting a Life Science Business: Lessons from a Medical Device Startup” – as part of the 2015 Trans-disciplinary Summer Lecture Series at Gates Vascular Institute on September 2nd.

On September 10th, Friedman spoke in Amherst at a business networking event on “The Psychology of Business and Investing”.  Friedman cited various examples from his book Family Business and Positive Psychology: New Planning Strategies for the 21st Century.  
In his remarks, Friedman spoke on how to enhance productivity and financial success through positive psychology and behavioral investing as well as the correlation between positive workplace culture and organizational success.
