LMWF Managing Partner Scott Friedman to speak at Columbia University

Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Managing Partner Scott E. Friedman will give a presentation on the science behind operating a successful family business at Columbia Business School at Columbia University.
Mr. Friedman will present “Family Business Planning in the 21st Century: The Application of Social Neuroscience” on Thursday, April 30. This is the fourth time that Mr. Friedman has been invited to speak at Columbia University.
In addition to serving as the managing partner of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, Mr. Friedman is the author of seven books, including Family Business and Positive Psychology: New Planning Strategies for the 21st Century (American Bar Association, 2013). He is a frequent lecturer on the topic of positive psychology and running family businesses and regularly contributes to articles on the subject regionally and nationally.
"I am honored to once again have the opportunity to speak at Columbia University,” Mr. Friedman said. “The University attracts family business members from around the world and is a great forum to discuss new thoughts and strategies designed to help families in business together thrive on a personal and professional level.”
