She is speaking on the topic of “The Preliminary Conference” and also serving on a panel discussion addressing arbitration trends and best practices.

With 40 years of experience as a trial and appellate attorney, including eight years on the federal court bench, Judge Heckman (Ret.) focuses her legal practice at Lippes Mathias on arbitrations and mediations, commercial litigation, and Indian law. She serves as the firm’s Indian Law Practice team co-leader, and is on the American Arbitration Association’s panel of arbitrators and mediators.
