BUFFALO, NY – John A. Mueller, a partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Upstate New York Chapter for a two-year term. He has been a TMA member since 2012 and currently serves on the advisory board for the Upstate New York Chapter.

TMA is a global non-profit organization comprised of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals with more than 8,300 members in 55 chapters including 32 in North America. The Upstate New York Chapter covers all of upstate New York north of Westchester County and has approximately 100 members.

At Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, Mr. Mueller serves as co-leader of the firm’s Financial Reorganization, Restructuring, and Insolvency practice team. He also handles commercial litigation matters in the state and federal bankruptcy courts involving small and large businesses, professional service providers and financial institutions.
