Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Expands Immigration Practice

BUFFALO, NY – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP today announced that the firm has significantly expanded its immigration practice with the recent hiring of seasoned immigration lawyers Eileen M. Martin as partner and Elizabeth M. Klarin as counsel.

Ms. Martin brings more than 20 years of experience in immigration law to her new role as the firm’s immigration practice team leader. Her experience includes working for the former U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, as well as leading roles as an immigration attorney with other top law firms on the U.S.-Canada border. Ms. Martin has assisted clients from around the world with various matters, including work permits, employment and family-based immigration, assessment of U.S. citizenship, immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers, port-of-entry issues and visa issuance. She has completed the Immigration Officer Basic Training Course at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers and is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School; the Matthias Concannon Program in International Law in London, England; and Siena College. Ms. Martin is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Ms. Klarin has more than 15 years of experience in immigration, including several years working with one of the world’s leading immigration law firms. She assists clients with the full spectrum of U.S. immigration matters, including visas and immigrant permissions for extraordinary ability, specialty occupation, intracompany transferee, business visitor and NAFTA-eligible individuals, and as well as family and employment-based permanent residence applicants. She represents clients from around the globe across virtually every industry, as well as individuals seeking strategic immigration options and solutions. Ms. Klarin is a graduate of University at Buffalo School of Law and Saint Lawrence University, and is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
