Lippes Mathias Welcomes Travis S. McConnell to Its Jacksonville Office

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce Travis S. McConnell has joined the firm as an associate in its Jacksonville, Florida office. An experienced litigator, Travis’s practice concentrates on representing clients in commercial, administrative, and appellate litigation matters, including contract enforcement actions and construction-defect defense.  He frequently advises on regulatory compliance, including OSHA safety standards, and assists clients in preparing and negotiating construction contracts and other commercial agreements.

Travis’s involvement in the construction industry began in 2013 when he was commissioned into the United States Army Reserve as an engineer officer. Throughout his career with the Army, he trained in vertical and horizontal construction and formerly served as the commander of a combat engineer company. Today, Travis serves in the Army Reserve’s Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps as Trial Counsel, advising a brigade command overseeing more than 3,000 Soldiers.

Travis received his J.D. in 2017 from Florida State University College of Law, and in 2013, he graduated with his B.S. from the Florida Institute of Technology.
