Lippes Mathias today announced the addition of Thomas R. Southard, an associate, to its litigation team. Based in the firm’s Buffalo, N.Y. office, Thomas will focus his practice on assisting clients with employment, consumer financial services, and general commercial litigation matters.

Thomas is a 2016 graduate of Boston College and received his J.D. in 2021 from Wake Forest University School of Law. As a law student, Thomas served as a symposium editor on the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy Board of Editors. Thomas also served as a trip leader for the Boston College Appalachian Volunteers as a student at Boston College. Thomas is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
