Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that Christin M. Cornetta has joined the firm as a partner in its Rochester office, enhancing its capabilities in insurance recovery, counseling, and litigation. Cornetta brings significant experience advising clients on insurance coverage issues, performing detailed policy reviews, drafting insurance procurement requirements, and representing policyholders in complex insurance recovery litigation. 

Cornetta’s practice has included representing Fortune 500 companies in bankruptcy-related insurance recovery and other high-stakes commercial disputes. Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, she served as a law clerk to Hon. Marian W. Payson, United States Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.

Cornetta earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where she was a Note Editor for the Cornell Law Review, and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rochester. 

Cornetta’s professional involvement includes leadership roles in the Monroe County Bar Association and the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys. Her accomplishments have been recognized with awards such as The Daily Record’s Leader in the Law Award and Up and Coming Attorney Award.
