Lippes Mathias today announced the addition of Jason C. Hill as a partner in its Jacksonville office. Hill brings extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, representing clients in the purchase, sale, lease, and development of commercial properties, including retail, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and vacant land developments. 

Hill’s practice encompasses all stages of real estate ventures, from initial financing to final sale and property development. He represents lenders and borrowers in financing and restructuring real estate loans, collaborating with national title insurance companies to resolve intricate title issues. His robust network of underwriters, surveyors, appraisers, and title litigation professionals positions him to provide solutions for various title matters.

Hill’s career highlights include advising on the sale of a 2,400-acre real estate assemblage involving 34 parcels owned by more than 20 stakeholders and coordinating a complex bridge loan financing for a downtown Jacksonville mixed-use community. He also represented the seller in closing a multi-million-dollar sale of a five-building office campus with multiple tenants. 

Hill collaborates with the firm’s corporate and banking & financial transactions teams to create corporate entities for holding real property titles and navigates the real estate aspects of business sales. Additionally, he partners with the trusts & estates team on estate planning and probate matters and works closely with the litigation team to resolve title disputes, boundary issues, and other real estate-related litigation. 

A graduate of Florida State University College of Law, Hill also completed a Summer Law Program at the University of Oxford. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the College of Health and Human Performance. 

Hill is an active member of the Florida Land Title Association and previously served as president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary of the National Caucus of Title Insurance Litigators. He is also a graduate of the Fidelity National Financial Leadership Program.
