ALBANY, N.Y. – Lippes Mathias partners Frank J. Fanshawe and Anoush Koroghlian-Scott, both members of the firm’s health care practice team, presented during the North East Regional Urgent Care Association’s 2022 Urgent Care Conference. Frank and Anoush’s presentation was titled “Telehealth Compliance and Billing Issues; Employment Law Trends; and Urgent Care M&A Considerations.” 

Frank J. Fanshawe, partner with Lippes Mathias, focuses his practice on government relations, health care law, and privacy and data security. He has nearly 30 years of experience, including over a decade in a role as a legal, government relations and policy counsel with a nationally recognized health insurer. Frank previously served as a senior advisor to the New York State Senate Health Committee chair on legislative and public policy issues in connection with New York's deregulation of the hospital payment methodology system (Health Care Reform Act) and other major health care initiatives. He also practiced law with other law firms, where he represented hospitals, medical groups, independent practice associations, physician organizations, home health agencies and other health care providers. 

Anoush Koroghlian-Scott is a partner in the firm’s health law practice team and brings nearly 30 years of experience having practiced health law in private practice and in-house at various hospitals in the Capital Region. As a member of the senior leadership team at a large community hospital and prior roles as risk management director and compliance officer in other regional facilities, Anoush has a unique understanding of health care operations and the daily challenges to delivering high quality health care services in a cost-effective manner. Her clients include hospitals, physician practice groups, mental health providers, billing companies and individual practitioners. She serves as a strategic business partner on a wide range of transactional and operational matters and offers her clients practical, innovative solutions that align with strategic goals and initiatives.
