July 8, 2025 |
Events
Section 105(l) provides a valuable opportunity for Tribes to recover certain facility costs incurred while operating programs under 638 contracts and compacts. When lease agreements are strategically structured, they can generate substantial unrestricted revenue for Tribal governments. In this webinar, attendees will gain a foundational understanding of Section 105(l) and explore practical strategies for accessing and maximizing these critical funding opportunities.
During this webinar, you will learn:
- How Tribes who use their space to administer 638 programs can earn compensation for the use of that space
- The different forms of compensation that exist and what they mean
- How to generate substantial, unrestricted rental income through operating 638 programs
- How to obtain Section 105(l) funding for existing or new/replacement facilities
There will be two sessions of this webinar. The first will be on Thursday, August 7th from 2-3 PM EST and the second will be on Thursday, August 14th from 2-3 PM EST. The content of each webinar will be the same, so you only need to attend one session.
