BUFFALO, NY – Scott Friedman and Mary Owen, principals and senior advisors at Delphi21 Advisors LLC, a national consulting firm focused on finding new approaches to meet the channels of family businesses, are participating in “Family Business: New Strategies for the 21st Century.” The conference is May 17 – May 20 at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA.
Attendees will learn how to keep one’s family business on a positive track using best practices from leading-edge experts in behavioral economics, social neuroscience and positive psychology. Mr. Friedman will present strategies to help family businesses ease the struggles to thrive from one generation to the next, including use of The Family Business ScorecardTM. Ms. Owens will share how to cultivate a positive, high-performing family business culture.
In addition to founding Delphi 21, Mr. Friedman serves as chairman and CEO at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP. He focuses his legal practice principally in two areas: working with entrepreneurs and family businesses, partnerships and closely held businesses across the United States on a wide range of matters relating to organizational dynamics. Mr. Friedman is a general partner and manager of Impact Capital, a WNY venture capital fund, and Buffalo Capital Partners LLC, where he enjoys working closely with startup companies.
Ms. Owen, an accomplished business leader and strategic planning professional, serves as a life trustee with the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. She has held a number of leadership-level positions with the NFL and the Buffalo Bills, including helping lead and oversee community relations initiatives for the Buffalo Bills, and is a former president of the team’s Youth Foundation.
