CIS announced that it completed data entry for all fiscal year 2020 H-1B cap-subject petitions that were selected in the lottery process. This means that the next 1-2 weeks is likely the final window where receipt notices will be mailed. CIS will commence returning all H-1B cap-subject petitions that were not selected in the lottery process.
CIS did not provide a time frame for returning H-1B cap filings that were not selected, but I would expect that to be over the next 30-60 days.
It will be interesting to see any figures as to how reversing the lottery process may have resulted in more advanced degree petitions being selected.
