ALBANY, NY – Robert E. Ganz, senior counsel at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, has been appointed as the national chair of the Lawyers for Israel affiliate of the Jewish National Fund (JNF) after attending its National Conference in Washington, D.C. last week.

 

The JNF has over 300,000 donors in the U.S., raising over $85 million a year for housing job development projects in non-conflict areas in Israel benefiting all citizens. JNF also assists in providing services to the disabled and helps manage scarce water resources. 

 

As national chair, Mr. Ganz will be responsible for coordinating efforts needed for lawyers to participate in these projects and increase awareness, as well as developing a national referral network for legal work. He will travel to chapters around the country and plan programs in Israel and at national and/or regional conferences.
