Buffalo, N.Y. -- Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Partner B. Kevin Burke Jr. was recognized by the New York Press Association at its 2014 spring convention with a prestigious NYPA award.

Burke is a partner in the firm and a member of the commercial litigation practice group where he focuses his efforts  on representing corporate clients in complex litigation in federal and state courts. 

He has significant experience litigating multi-million dollar trade secret and employee mobility issues, specifically dealing with the structuring and enforcement of non-compete agreements.

Burke was recognized with an award in the category of "Best Editorial Page" for his contribution of a guest column exploring the changing face of white-collar crime and the challenges of keeping the laws current as technology evolves.

He regularly writes and lectures on a variety of issues related to his commercial litigation practice.
