BUFFALO, NY –This fall, Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP is participating in the Corporate Champions program through University at Buffalo School of Management. The Corporate Champions program helps students become more involved in business and the community to gain real-world perspective on what is learned in class.

Lippes Mathias, along with other participating local businesses, is assigned a team of six first year MBA students for the fall semester. The firm provides a learning lab environment and access to senior leadership throughout the semester as the students work to put together a final project and case study, including participating in a site visit and a community service activity.

“The Corporate Champions program is an excellent opportunity to bring students and local businesses closer together through firsthand experience,” said Kevin J. Cross, managing partner at Lippes Mathias. “This semester, the MBA students working with us are focused on learning the culture of our firm and providing suggestions for how to preserve our positive culture as we continue to grow. In the last five years, we have more than doubled the number of attorneys and expanded several offices beyond our Buffalo location, and we want to ensure that the Lippes Mathias culture remains intact moving forward.”
