Lippes Mathias LLP today announced the opening of a new Collaboration Hall & Welcome Center at its Downtown Buffalo office, a space built to support education, collaboration, and connection for both internal and external audiences. Located on the first floor of 40/50 Fountain Plaza, the 4,000-square-foot center marks the firm’s latest strategic investment in its Buffalo headquarters.

Outfitted with six 98-inch screens and advanced video technology, the Collaboration Hall can accommodate up to 150 guests and features a stage for speakers and panels. The layout includes flexible seating configurations, a full kitchen, a boardroom, and a lounge space with games and informal gathering areas. Outside organizations linked to the firm through its attorneys’ personal community involvement initiatives will also use the Hall for programs and events.

In addition to its functional capabilities, the Welcome Center improves the firm’s approach to guest reception and security. Visitors to the firm will now be received at the Welcome Center and will remain there until greeted by their host, enhancing both comfort and protection of confidential information. To support this effort, Lippes Mathias has created a Firm Concierge role responsible for welcoming guests and managing daily operations within both the Welcome Center and Collaboration Hall.

Since relocating to 50 Fountain Plaza in 2016, Lippes Mathias has steadily expanded its presence within the building. The firm initially occupied the 16th and 17th floors, added space on the seventh floor in 2018, and completed a full renovation of the 15th floor in May 2023, creating space for nearly 60 additional offices and workstations. The Welcome Center & Collaboration Hall replaces the firm’s previous multimedia room that had been in use since its creation in December 2018.

Lippes Mathias now occupies more than 50,000 square feet across its Buffalo headquarters at 50 Fountain Plaza and approximately 170,000 square feet of office space across its national 17-office footprint.
