Kevin P. Hickey Joins Lippes Mathias LLP as Counsel

ALBANY, N.Y. – Lippes Mathias LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin P. Hickey has joined the firm as Counsel in its Albany office. In his role, Kevin will focus his practice on representing public sector labor unions in matters involving members’ terms and conditions of employment, including disciplinary arbitrations, contract grievance arbitrations, improper employer practices before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, administrative hearings before the New York State Justice Center and the New York State Division of Human Rights, as well as related litigation matters in New York State and federal courts.

Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Kevin spent more than a decade working in the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) as well as the Office of the New York State Attorney General where he defended various litigation matters, including numerous class action lawsuits brought up against New York State. Kevin also has years of experience working in the private sector handling transactional matters as well as commercial, employment, and general civil litigation.

Kevin received his J.D. in 1998 from Albany Law School, Union University, and in 1994, received his undergraduate degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
