BUFFALO, N.Y.— Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman is pleased to announce Mr. Gregory J. Turkovich, CPA. has been appointed as the law firm’s Chief Operating Officer.

Previously at M&T Bank, Mr. Turkovich supported the Commercial Bank, Credit group, Treasury function, and M&T Reality Capital Corporation. He was also a recipient of the M&T Bank President’s Council Award and is a certified Six Sigma professional. He is an Alumni of the State University at Geneseo.

Mr. Turkovich has extensive experience in accounting and financial analysis, which he began locally at Freed Maxick. His background also includes experience with Ally Bank (formerly GMAC) and Bank America in Charlotte, N.C. In his role at LMWF, Mr. Turkovich is responsible for handling all day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives within the firm. His involvement and unique background is essential to the growth and expansion currently taking place at the firm.

LMWF was founded in 1965 and is a broadly-based practice with emphasis in the areas of business and financial transactions, litigation, commercial real estate and development, benefits and employment practices, estate planning, and intellectual property.
